The Annual AFI Fest kicked off with the World Premiere of ,”Leave The World Behind.” Based on the book of the same name, a plethora of talent is on display beginning with its Director and Screenwriter Sam Esmail. An All-Star cast including, Julia Roberts, Mahershala Ali, Ethan Hawke, Myha’la, Farrah Mackenzie, Charlie Evans and Kevin Bacon. Produced by Sam Esmail, Chad Hamilton, Julia Roberts, Lisa Gillan and Marisa Yeres Gill. Executive Producers Tonia Davis, Daniel M. Stillman, Nick Krishnamurthy, Rumaan Alam, Barack Obama and Michelle Obama.
As we were unable to attend the event this year, we did scour through the film schedule and were all popcorn’d up ready to scope out the following films at this years fest:

As you know most of the films screening have never been seen before or have not been released to theatres yet only screened early at Film Festivals. Check the film schedule and follow up on the release dates of the films you like. They maybe available on streaming platforms already such as Netflix, Apple or Hulu etc. Some films are being introduced and screened at film festivals only, set for theatrical release dates later.
