Happy 3oth Anniversary to The Los Angeles Times Festival Of Books held at USC. It’s such a great event every year.

Looking forward to this years author line-up and ready to take in as much as we can at this years Festival Of Books. The panels, the stage events, the food, the book signings, the authors, the insight, the publsihers, the campus, Tommy The Trojan !!

The Los Angeles Times Festival Of Books also has 10 Book Prizes that are presented the night before the beginning of the festival every year. Each winner receives a citation and $500. Here are the categories:

Biography, Current Interest, Fiction, History, Mistery, Young Adult Fiction, Thriller, Poetry, Technology and touted, “Robert Kirsch Award.”

• The Robert Kirsch Award is presented annually to a living author with a substantial connection to the American West. Named in honor of Robert Kirsch, the Los Angeles Times book critic from 1952 until his death in 1980.
